The musicians from Outhentic group received an invitation to participate in the festival “Bulgaria – Cradle of European Civilization,” held on the occasion of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The invitation was extended by Elitsa Yordanova, founder of the association “Bulgarian Education and Culture” and one of the creators of the first Bulgarian school, “ABV,” in Amsterdam.
The festival is supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and will take place on May 26 and 27 this year. The program promises to be exceptionally diverse and engaging.
The concert of the ethno-jazz formation Outhentic will take place on May 26 at 7:00 PM in the concert hall of the Bulgarian school “ABV.”
The musicians have prepared many new and captivating compositions that will touch the hearts of Bulgarians abroad and create a true folkloric magic.
The festival program also includes:
- An exhibition of 40 selected items from the “Crafts of the Thracian Lands” foundation, presented by its chairman Petar Kopralev.
- A demonstration of Bulgarian embroidery and an exhibition of Bulgarian folk costumes, presented by Gloria Angelova.
- An exhibition and tasting of selected Bulgarian wines, provided by Toni Dimotrov from “Bulwine.”
Music and dance will be contributed by:
- The children’s folk dance group “Bulgarche” from The Hague, led by Julia Baramova.
- The ensemble “Chubritza” and the children’s folk dance group “Bulgarche” from The Hague.
- The Bulgarian folk dance club from The Hague, led by Klavdia Genova.
