After the stunning concert by Outhentic at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Berlin, the musicians are set to perform in Warsaw, Poland, at the special invitation of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute there. The group will be performing for the first time in front of the Bulgarian community and local fans of ethno-jazz music in the Polish capital.
The upcoming concert is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM on March 22, 2017. It is part of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute’s cultural calendar for 2017 and will be titled “The New Yesterday” or “YesToday”. This is also the title of Outhentic’s debut album, which will be the main focus of the audience’s attention during the event.
Another reason for the event is the arrival of the much-anticipated season—spring. Outhentic’s connection to this season is significant, symbolizing youth, renewal, growth, and vitality. This theme is reflected in the green color prominently featured on the cover of their debut album.
The support and gesture of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw toward Outhentic represent an important and significant step forward in the development of Bulgarian folklore. The Institute is the main organizer of the event, while Zhivko, Rayna, and Viktor have also received support for their concert from the National Culture Fund under the cultural exchange program “Mobility.”
