Born in 1994, guitarist,tambura player and composer Borislav Iliev has
been steadily building his name as one of the most compelling performers in Bulgaria. He started playing guitar at the age of Seven in his home town Gorna Oryahovitsa. At 15 he was admitted to the National Art School “Prof. Vesselin Stoyanov” (Rousse) where he graduated with classical guitar specialty. He continues his education at National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” – Sofia. Participant in master classes of names such as Don Braden, Jiggs Whigham, Joris Teepe and others. Throughout the years Borislav has played or recorded with the groups Outhentic, Ginger Groove, Gypsy jazz quartet Para Hot Jazz and more.
